My love for drawing and design began around four and in response to my constant need for paper, my mom bought large rolls of news print paper from the Santa Barbara News Press. Factory plans, island maps, animals and inventions formed on all this paper through my youth.

As I graduated high school I became very focused on geologic and biologic sciences and graduated in 1999 with a degree in geology accompanied with a degree in graphic communication. By this time I had already been running a business in design and fine art publication for ten years. I loved sitting down with clients and discussing the buildings they owned and then illustrating the site for publication onto exclusive museum quality note cards.
